Going to start this new thing where I blog about the things I eat along with the exercises I do. Trying to get back in shape for beach season as well as letting you guys know about the cool brands that I like. I figure if other people can see the things I am eating, then I have to be honest and I can't sneak little things here and there; its all public! Hope it works....eeeeek Also, let me know if you have any suggestions of brands that you like.
Day 1: Monday April 4th, 2011
8:00 am Wake up, walk Mango, the cutest and best dog in the world!
8:40 Exercise, thus far:
-50 military count bicycle crunches.
-20 military count cross knee to elbow in push up position things.
~1 cup of Spice Island coffee
This will help me speed up my metabolism a tad bit, curbing those urges to eat junky stuff.
Metropolis Coffee Company:
-Spice Island is a blend of Indonesian and South American coffee that they put together to highlight the mild spiciness and sweet-dry walnut and pecan notes of its components . Spice Island is full bodied, but its dry finish is clean and sweet. I bought this bag of coffee, made in our home of Chicago at M. Henry.
~9:15 am. 1/2 cup McCann's Imported Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal with Kefir and fruit!
along with some Driscoll's® raspberries, SunBelle® blueberries, a splash of Helio's® Organic Plain Kefir, half of a Chiquita banana, and a dash of McCormicks® Cinnamon.
I just found this adorable Chiquita® Banana commercial from the 40's; trop chou!
