Ain't Misbehavin.

Ain't missing out on no shroom, no. Mushroom burger business mang. Trying to perfect....ummmm....this is me right now forgetting english words...umm those long green things...thoughts in my head...umm even google can't help me. not brussel sprouts, but I've been cookin those too. Not parsley but I used those in my mushroom burger recipe...ASPARAGUS!
So I'm trying to perfect my asparagus recipe. Olive oil, Asparagus, garlic, salt, pepper, Oven. After I tell the asparagus what to do, I put some parmesan on them. After I decide when they're finished, balsamic viniagrette. Berry goot. Tonight was mushroom burger. Mmm, first time. I'm thinking in French as I write this. Crazy. Beatles and cookin or ZZ Top and cookin. Clash tomorrow night? Hmm just a few whiffens past. Who knows?

Should I go to Brussels or Rennes next semester? or CHICAGO? It's a tough one...

Solitudary.

I've locked myself in my room for the past two nights.
Maybe I can come out a changed person, like the Maury pickle girl. Maybe. I might do something today.
At least Mr. Show is in my life.
If anyone cares about my well being it sure as hell ain't Bob Odenkirk and David Cross.
And for that said Jesus, I am thankful.
Goo Goo Much & of course, Mr. Top Himself, Heard It On The X.
That's all for today folks.

Didn't Have to Love Me.

It's a perfectly cold day in Lille and I just finished "Pulp" by Charles Bukowski at Le President Cafe in the town's square. Very much enjoyed this book, Bukowski's knack for creating horribly pitiful characters makes me laugh. Now it's on to Proust, "Swann's Way." I give this book a big ol' fancy B for fucking boring.

My train back to Paris is departing in an hour and I am just around the corner. Once again stealing internet from the MacDoh, we seem to be inseparable. Got to walk around Lille yesterday in what is comparable to the downtown area of Chicago. Consumeristic was that! I'm pretty excited to go back to Paris and get down on mah studies.

The first night in Lille, went to this neighborhood bar filled with oldies and more oldies. It was like a painting, can't say who the artist is. Maybe "Potato Eaters" by Van Gogh, but don't want to underestimate the art. All of them seemed to have a story, like everyone. One guy told about his mother who had recently just died and of his depression and another gentle, homely lookin' fella told about how he liked talking to young adults as they were very interesting and kind. I felt at home with the homely's. With every beer, came free saucisson.

Time to boogie.
Ciao, yalls.

La Graff

Heat Wave.

Cupcakes. Cookies. Tube Snake Boogie. Spilled some red wine on my lady's carpet, oh no. Made some American stuff today, after going to the American grocery store. America is a melting pot with all kinds of ingredients Other places don't have. Tomorrow I am going to Lille. Hence cupcakes, oh and cookies too. My lady just did my laundry. Were getting along much better now and I am learning a lot of French. My dame is so excited about a cupcake, she's never seen one before. It's 15 mins to 1 a.m. and shes eating a cupcake. SO funny. "C'est tres bonne, eets vawy gewd." I love it when she tries to speak English. 2 salads today. 2 new American foods for a French lady. Many corrections to my French sentences. Another funny thing, I'm becoming a little bit more French at my home; I close doors if they are open and open my curtains in the morning and close them in the night. Wow, I even put the toilet seat down after every single use, along with lifting it up as well.

Went to the Musee d'Orsay with my Avante Garde class yesterday. Silver L-Strikes en ma chambre. MacDogh internet connection.

Went to a Kehinde Wiley exhibition today sponsored by Puma. Quite enjoyable, slightly different story as other works, with similar subjects. Too bad I missed out on the opening yesterday, when Wiley was actually there. Shart.

After that another petit exhibit in the area. "Krash." Writer born in the Bronx in 1961.

Missed the Keith Haring opening today, but it'll still be around and plus its with boganomous Tommy Hilpooper. Keith Haring's blown up anyways, but what can I say? I'm a teenybopper too.

I got a bad, bad cold.
